GSA.gov Redesign Will Improve Usability

Posted September 15, 2003

Soon it’s going to be easier to find the information you need on gsa.gov. Great strides are being made to redesign the website from top to bottom! The anticipated result is a user-friendly site that will be more intuitive and easier to navigate.

Six tabs across the top of each page, covering GSA’s primary activities, will allow you to move through the site from any location logically and efficiently.

Information on the right side of pages will enable you to move quickly to related topics.  Also look to the right for expanded contact information—individuals and groups. With a click, choose the best point of contact for you.

You will still find feature stories on the homepage, plus the added element of “MarketSpace,” which will change monthly. This special location will be the place to look for high-impact, customer-oriented topics.

The updated design and improved functionality will make it easier for you to find information on GSA products, services, and policies and to conduct business with GSA.  The new site is expected to launch at the end of September 2003.  Check this space in a few more weeks to experience the new gsa.gov.
