Flooding in Virginia Affects Some GSA Facilities

Flooding caused a loss of power in GSA's Crystal City, VA location on June 26, 2006. The Crystal Mall (CM) #3 and #4 facilities are currently closed. There is no estimated time of power and service restoration at this time.
As a result of this power disruption, some phone services are not available to GSA employees in Crystal City, VA, Franconia, VA, and L'Enfant Plaza in Washington, DC. E-mail is also experiencing some intermittent disruption at these locations.
FSS CIO Infrastructure Division employees and contractors who usually occupy CM #4 are expected to report to Crystal Plaza #4 for work as usual on Wednesday, June 28, 2006. Other employees who occupy CM #4 and have work at home capabilities are authorized to work at home on Wednesday, June 28, 2006, unless otherwise directed by their government or contractor task order manager. Associates who cannot work at home will be provided specific instruction from their respective government or contractor task order manager.
