Several GSA employees were honored with Federal 100 awards for their commitment to workplace excellence. The awards were presented by Federal Computer Week and the 1105 Government Information Group.
The employees making significant contributions to federal information technology in 2009 are Paul Prouty, Rocky Mountain Region Public Building Service Regional Commissioner; Casey Coleman, GSA Chief Information Officer; John R. Murphy, Director of USA.gov Technologies Division; Katie Lewin CIO Chief of Staff; Judith Spencer, agency expert; and Earl Warrington, Director, Office of Business Management.
“These award-winning GSA employees exemplify the agency’s commitment to excellence in the federal workplace," said GSA Administrator Martha Johnson. "All of them come to work every day to provide value to the American taxpayer and consistently contribute to GSA’s mission and goals of supporting both GSA and all of our federal partners and customers.”
The entire group of 100 winners includes 30 from industry and 70 from the federal government – 42 in civilian agencies and 28 in the defense sector.
