Wildland Fire Program
New DLA Email Address
As the notes below indicate, management of the Wildland Fire Program shifted from GSA to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) in 2014. Customers with questions regarding any aspect of the current program can send those to a new, shared email address at DLA: DLAWFPP@dla.mil.
Effective January 1, 2015: GSA No Longer Accepts Any Wildland Fire Orders
This December 23, 2014 DLA Notice to State & Local Customers details the fact that as of January 1, 2015, all state and local orders for wildland fire equipment must be placed directly with DLA. The interim solution, used in 2014, allowed agencies to order through GSA. That solution is now terminated.
GSA transferred the wildland fire program to DLA effective May 1, 2014
As part of a comprehensive Supply Transformation initiative, GSA collaborated with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) to transfer the Wildland Fire program to DLA. The table below includes key documents and program updates regarding this transition.
To find relevant contacts at DLA, open the "DLA Ordering Instructions - Non-cache Federal Agencies" in the table below and scroll to the bottom.
The table below includes a reference copy, both text-only or complete with photos, of the 2013 GSA Fire Catalog. Users can disregard pricing and ordering information, but still find descriptions and photos that may be useful.

Online billing: January 2014 was the last month GSA Global Supply mailed paper copies of the bills to customers. Note: This change does not impact customers using a government purchase card, but only those using an AAC/DoDAAC (or equivalent) to order supplies.
