Household Goods Transportation

GSA’s Centralized Household Goods Traffic Management Program (CHAMP) assists federal civilian agencies in arranging for the transportation of household goods for eligible relocating employees.  When the transportation of household goods, from one duty station to another, both domestically and internationally is being paid directly by the federal agencies, CHAMP is the program to choose.

Benefits of the CHAMP program:

• An online system,  Transportation Management Services Solution (TMSS), that allows users to manage the entire transportation process easily and efficiently;
• Savings off commercial rates;
• Strict Transportation Service Provider (TSP) approval process;
• Over 250 participating TSPs;
• Move Management Services;
• Access to  TSP Customer Satisfaction Index; and,
• Users can submit a TSP evaluation upon completion of move.

GSA invites CHAMP approved TSPs to submit rates in response to Request for Offers (RFO) during the established open filing windows to provide transportation services for the movement of household goods. Find out how to become an approved Champ TSP.
