GSA Mid-Atlantic Region Employees honored at Philadelphia FEB Awards
Over 40 GSA Mid-Atlantic Region employees were honored at the 2013 Philadelphia Federal Executive Board’s (FEB) Excellence in Government Awards ceremony on May 15 in downtown Philadelphia, PA. The FEB Excellence in Government Awards honors people within the federal workforce whose exceptional performance warrants recognition. Six GSA individual employees, as well as four project teams received Medalist honors.
U.S. Custom House in Philadelphia receives Illumination Award
The U.S. Custom House in Philadelphia, PA, received an Illumination Award of Merit from the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES), a collegial community dedicated to improving the lighted environment. The award recognizes the LED lighting upgrade completed as part of GSA’s recent modernization of the building completed in 2012. The IES Illumination Awards provide a unique opportunity for public recognition of professionalism, ingenuity, and originality in lighting. Congratulations to the project team for their recent recognition!
