Herbert C. Hoover Building
The Herbert C. Hoover Building was built in 1932. The 8-phase modernization project, which began in 2007, will be completed in 2021.
This project involves major upgrades of the existing utilities, electrical, and HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) for the more than 1.9 million square feet building. During the renovations, staff will continue to work onsite.
In July 2009, Phase 2 and 3 received funding through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
