GSA Region 4 Assists U.S. Marine Corps Resolve Acquisition Challenge

GSA Assists Marine Corps in finding solution via Global Supply to meet windshield cleaning requirements of V-22 Osprey

When the U.S. Marine Corps at Cherry Point, NC could not find an effective and safe cleaning solution to clean the windshields of its V-22 Osprey helicopter after months of searching, they turned to GSA for help.  GSA Region 4 Customer Service Director (CSD)  Dale Terry from Camp Lejeune, NC helped the Marines obtain a national stock number (NSN) for an effective cleaning wipes solution that they identified to meet their cleaning requirements for the V-22 Osprey helicopter.  The association of a NSN with the cleaning wipes makes the procurement of the cleaning wipes much easier for the Marines at Cherry Point and enables consistency with their procurement practices and procedures.
