Facilities operations
Facility Operations serves its tenants and stakeholders through enacted laws, Administration directives, and GSA/PBS internal regulations, policies, and guides. We provide direction and governance concerning:
Lease management
We promote, monitor, and oversee lease compliance to provide superior, effective, and nationally consistent lease occupancies at the best value to the American taxpayer. Our Lease Management Customer Guide [PDF - 3 MB] outlines the minimum requirements for lease Contracting Officer’s Representatives (CORs) and fosters effective communication between stakeholders.
Tenant Satisfaction Survey
GSA conducts the Tenant Satisfaction Survey (TSS) each year on behalf of all federal agencies. The TSS is conducted to assess the federal workforce satisfaction levels in the areas of building and office environment, building services, security, and facility management. GSA reports survey results to tenant agencies, Congress, and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). Previous survey results are located here (MAX Account access required).
First Impressions Guide
The First Impressions Guide [PDF - 37 MB] is provided by Design and Construction’s Design Excellence Program. This guide covers the areas which shape a visitor’s “first impression” of the federal government.
