The pages on www.gsa.gov may include hypertext links or pointers to information created and maintained by other public and private organizations. GSA provides these links and pointers solely for our visitors' information and convenience. When visitors select a link to an outside website, they are leaving the www.gsa.gov site and are subject to the privacy and security policies of the owners/sponsors of the outside website.
When GSA provides such links, it adheres to the following policy.
Links must be consistent with sound public policy and support the mission of GSA and its programs.
If GSA has a formal relationship with organizations or businesses, www.gsa.gov may link to their sites. All participating partners in a business venture with GSA must be treated equally.
Links to commercial sites must avoid even the perception of favoritism or bias relative to other similar commercial sites. If other sites exist which offer similar products, information, or services there must be a link to all sites or none.
GSA regularly reviews the quality and usefulness of the sites it links to. However, GSA cannot be responsible for their content or privacy policies as noted in the Disclaimers of Endorsement below.
Websites that are separate from www.gsa.gov but which are funded or supported in whole or in part by GSA are considered part of GSA’s overall web presence. There are direct links from www.gsa.gov to these sites without notification or disclaimer.
All links and pointers to sites that are not funded or supported in whole or in part by GSA are clearly identified as either "government" or "nongovernment links".
Because the websites of other government websites must follow the same governmentwide policies that GSA does, links to these sites (including the U.S. military) are made without notification or disclaimer.
All links and pointers to sites that are not part of the government are identified as "nongovernment links" Such links are either:
- Collected in a list with the label "Nongovernment Links", or
- "Described in text as "a commercial site", "a nongovernmental education site", or "a nongovernment public organization site".
This presentation is GSA’s notification to visitors that these links are to nongovernment sites and that the disclaimers below apply.
The inclusion of links and pointers to websites is not intended to assign importance to those sites or to the information contained on those sites. It is also not intended to endorse or recommend any views expressed or products or services offered on these sites.
GSA does not control or guarantee the accuracy, relevance, timeliness or completeness of information contained on a linked website.
GSA does not endorse the organizations sponsoring linked websites, and does not endorse the views they express or the products/services they offer.
GSA cannot authorize the use of copyrighted materials contained in linked websites. Visitors must request such authorization from the sponsor of the linked website.
GSA is not responsible for transmissions visitors receive from linked websites.
GSA does not guarantee that outside websites comply with Section 508 (Accessibility Requirements) of the Rehabilitation Act.
GSA will not link to any website that exhibits hate, bias, or discrimination. Furthermore, GSA reserves the right to deny or remove any link that contains misleading information or unsubstantiated claims, or is determined to be in conflict with GSA’s mission or policies.
