Shyam K. Reddy - Regional Administrator, Southeast Sunbelt Region
Shyam K. Reddy was appointed Regional Administrator for GSA’s Southeast Sunbelt Region, effective March 29, 2010.
In his role as principal executive of the region, Reddy will lead a GSA workforce of nearly 1,000 employees across Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
Reddy brings a record of experience, innovation, and community involvement that will be vital to carrying out GSA’s work throughout the region. He most recently worked as a corporate partner at Kilpatrick Stockton LLP, an international law firm based in Atlanta. While at Kilpatrick, Reddy remained an active member of the regional community with positions on the University of Georgia College of Public Health Board of Advisers, Common Cause of Georgia Board of Directors and the University of Georgia Alumni Association Board of Directors.
Reddy received his Bachelor of Arts in political science from Emory University and his master's in public health from Emory University. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Georgia School of Law.
