WASHINGTON – The U.S. General Services Administration’s Office of the Chief Financial Officer selected Adventure Travel (AdTrav) as the Travel Management Center contractor for its nationwide travel services, the agency announced today.
Effective November 1, AdTrav will provide travel management services, including travel authorizations, planning and cost-estimating and reservations for airline, hotel and car rentals for GSA’s 12,000 employees.
“We worked closely with the Federal Acquisition Service to recompete this contract in order to ensure that we have the most effective and value-driven travel management services available,” said GSA Chief Financial Officer Kathleen Turco.
AdTrav has been providing GSA with travel management services since 2004. The contract was awarded from GSA’s Federal Supply Schedule for Travel Agent Services and will have a projected value of $2.5 million dollars over its four-year life.
