Community leaders learn progress on the Land Port of Entry project. GSA proposes modifications to Phase 3 improvements.
IRS management praised GSA for delivering better value and considerable savings for their agency.
“The Design Excellence Program helps us design and build facilities that reflect the dignity, vigor and stability of our government while promoting high-quality contemporary designs,” said Regional Chief Architect, Maria Ciprazo.
During the tour, they acknowledged the importance of the port as a key economic engine for the binational region and expressed continued support of the project.
U.S. District Court Chief Judge Barry Ted Moskowitz (center) shared the stage with fellow judges Irma Gonzalez (left) and Marilyn Huff (right), all of whom served as chief judge during the lifespan of the new U.S. Courthouse San Diego project.
This build-to-suit lease project is part of a comprehensive national program to consolidate FBI offices and improve overall agency collaboration and efficiency. It is the third in the region since the program's start.

One of GSA's largest, the Pacific Rim Region covers a vast and diverse territory that reaches from Window Rock, Arizona to Seoul, Korea. Our team manages a 35 million square foot real estate portfolio and serves customers in Arizona, California, Hawaii, and Nevada, as well as overseas in American Samoa, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Diego Garcia, Guam, mainland Japan and Okinawa, the Republic of Korea, Saipan, and Singapore.
Our nearly1,100 regional employees are committed to GSA's mission to deliver the best value in real estate, acquisition, and technology services to government and the American people. We are dedicated to helping our customers save money on their purchases and through right-sizing their workspace, and increase the efficiency and effectiveness of their operations – in essence we are helping to transform government.
Encompassing four of the sunniest states in the nation with state and/or federal commitments to energy efficiency, clean power and greening the supply chain, the region has been at the forefront in implementing the Federal Government’s sustainability plan. These efforts have positioned us to help our federal customers reach their budget and energy goals. Whether you are in an office building or on a ship, at a border station or on a military base, or are a Native Sovereign Nation, we can assist you in accomplishing your mission.
Thank you for your interest in GSA’s Pacific Rim Region. We look forward to the opportunity to work for and with you.
