By leveraging the buying power of the federal government, GSA can help cities and towns meet their mission while reducing costs and maximizing efficiency. Multiple authorized procurement programs allow state and local governments to use GSA Schedules for commodities and services.  Please join us to learn more about how these programs can be beneficial to your local community.  The following topics with be covered.
Cooperative Purchasing: State, local, and tribal governments, as well as, schools, college/ universities can purchase from;
1. IT Schedule 70 features over 5,000 industry partners offering wide variety of IT products and services.
2. Schedule 84 (Law Enforcement, Security, Facilities Management, Fire, Rescue, Clothing, Marine Craft, Disaster Response/Relief).
Disaster Recovery: Purchase directly from approved GSA Federal Supply Schedule vendors before and after presidentially declared disasters or acts of terrorism, to aid in recovery. **Several CO local governments utilized after fires in 2012.
1122 Program: Purchase approved law enforcement equipment and vehicles from selected GSA Schedules and AutoChoice for use in counter-drug, homeland security and emergency response activities. 
Public Health Emergencies: Purchase directly from GSA Federal Supply Schedule contractors, when expending Federal grant funds in response to Public Health Emergencies (PHE) declared by the Secretary of Health and Human.
Wildland Fire: Purchase U.S. Forest Service approved wildland fire protection equipment and supplies from GSA's Global Supply Program. *
Federal Surplus Property Donation Program: Eligible state and local governments and nonprofits can acquire federal surplus personal property through State Agencies for Surplus property (SASPs).
Computers for Learning: Schools and educational nonprofit organizations can acquire excess computer equipment form government agencies.
e-Tools:  GSA’s e-Tools web portal provides a one-stop resource where state and local and private customers can quickly learn about an array of GSA products and services.  e-Tools allow GSA to better serve its customers by providing an efficient and cost-effective way to do business.
