Instructions for Contractors Possessing Two MOBIS Contracts
MERGER OF SCHEDULE 69 AND SCHEDULE 874 (MOBIS)
GSA merged Schedule 69 into Schedule 874 (MOBIS) on July 1, 2009. As a result of the merger, the Schedule 69 contract became a separate MOBIS contract, so those contractors now have two MOBIS contracts. The contract that was previously a Schedule 69 contract will continue to be administered by GSA’s Region 2 office (New York, NY, designated by a GS-02F contract number prefix). The contract that was originally MOBIS will continue to be administered by GSA’s Region 10 office (Auburn, WA, designated by a GS-10F or GS-23F contract number prefix).
GSA encourages contractors who have more than one MOBIS contract as a result of the merger, to select one MOBIS contract to continue and allow the other one to expire. The best time to make this decision is near the end of the current contract period under the first of the two contracts that will expire.You can make this decision earlier if you choose to do so.
Once you decide which of the two contracts you want to retain and which you want to expire or cancel, GSA will work with you to modify the contract you want to retain to include all the awarded services/training courses/support products from the contract you want to let expire or cancel. We believe this approach provides you with the necessary time to work with your customers to ensure all awarded task orders will be completed, and allows your marketing team time to align your marketing strategies/information with the contract being retained.
Once you have decided which contract to retain, please follow the instructions below to add the awarded services/training courses/support products from the contract you want to expire or cancel.
