Christine J. Harada - Acting Chief of Staff
Christine J. Harada is the Acting Chief of Staff of the U.S. General Services Administration. Previously, she served the agency as the Associate Administrator for Government-wide Policy.
In her current role, Ms. Harada helps provide government-wide policies and guidance to enable the sustainable and efficient use of assets, effective acquisition leadership, identity management and sound information management.
Previously, Christine worked at The Boston Consulting Group and Booz Allen Hamilton, where she was a consultant to Fortune 500 and public sector clients, helping them tackle their most pressing challenges. At BCG, Christine was responsible for building and providing oversight for a team focused on transforming businesses, and supported global operations across 78 offices. At Booz Allen Hamilton, Christine was a leader in the firm's commercial and government business, and was recognized for providing organizational strategy, strategic planning, and performance management services to clients across the Intelligence Community.
Prior to her work in the consulting field, Christine worked for Kana Software as an international program manager and Lockheed Martin Space Systems Co., as a senior satellite systems engineer.
Christine was educated at the Wharton School and Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania, where she received both an MBA in Finance and an M.A. in International Studies with a focus on East Asia and Japanese language, at Stanford University, where she received an M.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics, and at MIT, where she received a B.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics.
