Acquisition Solutions for Logistics, Warehousing, and Distribution Services

Logistics acquisition solutions image

While transportation, warehousing, and distribution are critical to operations on land, at sea and in the air, more than rapid delivery is needed to support the armed forces and federal civilian agencies. Dependability and trust are equally vital. Using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)-compliant contracts and online ordering systems, GSA can help with distribution, deployment, warehousing, transportation, and full-scale supply chain management.

GSA’s Logistics Services assist federal agencies with all phases of planning, acquisition, and management of logistics systems. GSA provides training, turnkey solutions, and minor repair and alteration services.

This GSA offering is a one-stop resource for efficiently preparing and transporting whatever needs to be shipped securely and cost-effectively. Offerings include everything from low-tech solutions such as aluminum foil, to sophisticated Unique Identification (UID) and Radio Frequency ID product tracking technology.

For energy-saving building supplies, alternative e-energy solutions, air and water purification equipment, and related services, see GSA MAS 56. It also offers solar energy systems, energy-saving lighting products, and specialty lighting.

For most hardware, software, and service needs, turn to GSA’s MAS 70. It provides short and long-term leasing opportunities with the option to purchase new or used equipment, as well as offering electronic commerce and wireless services.
