Indy Courthouse Sculpture Gets Arm Transplant

As part of a Recovery Act project at the Birch Bayh Courthouse in Indianapolis, the building's sculptures and murals were cleaned and restored, including the transplant of a new arm on 'Industry,' a John Massey Rhind sculpture.

Ford Federal Building Hosts Five 'ArtPrize' Competitors

The Gerald R. Ford Federal Building in Grand Rapids, Michigan, hosted five artists in the city's 2012 "ArtPrize" competition, an annual contest that drew more than 1,500 artists this year.

During exterior brick cleaning and repainting of the Quincy Court Federal Building, a mid-1900s "ghost sign" from the Bond Company, a national clothing chain and former building owner, was uncovered and will remain in place on recommendation from historic preservationists.
