News Around the Greater Southwest Region

The Greater Southwest participates in City of Fort Worth Sustainable Energy Roundtable

Hand holding a green transparent globe of the earth

The Greater Southwest PBS recently participated in the City of Fort Worth Sustainable Energy Roundtable.  Mayor Betsy Price opened the discussions at the TCU Campus, which included presentations with question and answer sessions, as well as committee assignments and brainstorming. All segments of the community were represented. This is part of a continuing conversation between multiple parties in the metropolitan community. The Roundtable meets quarterly to promote sustainability within the City. As an active participant, GSA has been asked to consider "hosting" one of the roundtable "meetings" at our HQ building in the future.  We have also been invited to speak to the group about the GSA Green Proving Ground program at a future meeting of the group.
