GSA Disposal Solutions Workshop Richmond
Property Training Class
GSA will be hosting a Disposal Solutions Workshop at the Federal Building in Richmond from Wednesday. February 19 to Thursday. February 20, 2013. It will be located at the Richmond Federal Building, 400 N. 8th Street, Richmond, VA 23219. This event is intended for both newcomers to the field and seasoned professionals seeking updates on the disposal process. Accountable Property Officers, Property Custodians and other personnel interested in learning the excess personal property disposal process are also welcome.. The class will run from 8am to 4pm on Wednesday, February 19 & Thursday, February 20, 2013. Different content will be covered each day.

Abandonment and Destruction (A&D) Exchange Sales Authority GSAXcess®: Reporting & Disposing of Property Multiple ICN Picture Upload Acquiring Excess Property Disposition of Specialized Categories Processing Hazardous Materials Disposal of Federal Electronic Assets CFL Overview and Functions UNICOR Donation Program State Agencies for Surplus Property Sale of Personal Property
Those attending will have to keep in mind that they will have to go through security screening and should allow at least an additional half of an hour for processing. Agencies are required to register due to limited seating. There are approximately 40 seats available. Seating will be granted on a first come first serve basis.
