A&D and eScrap Recycling

Learn about A&D regulations and escrap recycling!

GSA Personal Property Management will be hosting a series of online training on various aspects of our program via Webex. The goal is to provide necessary training and information to our federal customers at the convenience of their own office and without agencies having to incur travel costs. Look for different topics from week to week on gsa.gov/events.

This week’s topic covers A&D and eScrap Recycling. The course opens with a brief review of the Abandonment and Destruction (A&D) regulations and authority, including who makes the determination for A&D and what the criteria are for making that judgment. Next, UNICOR (a certified eScrap vendor) will provide a short presentation on their electronics recycling program which is free for federal agencies and meets environmental standards. Participants will learn a brief history of UNICOR and the benefits of using the UNICOR program.

This course is worth one CLP credit.

The training will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2014; 1:00 PM EST

Registration for this training is required through GSA Events or GSA Interact.

Webex may not be compatible with everyone’s system. If you are unable to join this training online, you will need to look for a traditional class in your area through GSA Events or GSA Interact.
