"Free" Advanced Training for Acquisitions Experts Seminar featuring OASIS, Earn DPA and CLPs
This "FREE" GSA acquisition seminar is intended for federal, state and local government acquisition /procurement officials, Contracting Officers, Program/Project Managers, Engineers and Contracting Officer Technical Representatives (COTRs) seeking detailed contracting information pertinent to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Federal Supply Schedules (FSS), the OASIS program and for the Government-wide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs) while providing training that will equip the audience with tools necessary to simplify their acquisition processes. Attendees will learn the systematic process necessary to successfully award and administer delivery and task order awarded through Federal Supply Contracts. These courses will be presented (in-part) by 1102s that have made awards on behalf of the DOD and other Federal Agencies via Open Market, GWAC, and Federal Supply Schedules contracts via Open Market, GWAC and Federal Supply Schedule contracts. The purpose, benefits, and regulatory foundation of the Multiple Awards Schedule (MAS) Program and GWAC programs;
Characteristics and Schedule flexibilities relating to the acquisition life cycle including acquisition planning and market research;
The task / delivery order administrative functions, documentation requirements, and ordering methods when using GSA
Schedules as outlined in FAR Subpart 8.4;
Special ordering methods such as Blanket Purchase Agreements and Contractor Team Arrangements;
Open Market -vs.- Multiple Award Schedules - Differentiating FAR Subpart 8.4 from FAR Parts 13 / 14 / 15 / and 51 deviation;
