Michael Casella, Chief Financial Officer
Mike Casella is the Chief Financial Officer of the General Services Administration, where he is responsible for $23 billion in spending authority and for overseeing all finance issues at the agency.
Before being appointed to his current position in March of 2013, Mr. Casella served as Director of the Office of Budget and Resource Management at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), where he managed the USAID budget and served as the senior advisor to the Administrator on budget and resource issues.
He previously served as Deputy Vice President and Acting Vice President for Administration and Finance at the Millennium Challenge Corporation, and spent 13 years at the Office of Management and Budget, the last six as Chief of the International Economics Branch, a Senior Executive Service position responsible for all U.S. trade and foreign economic assistance funding.
Mr. Casella has a Masters of Public Affairs degree in international economics from Princeton University and a Bachelor’s degree in government from Cornell University.
