Dedication Ceremony Marks Completion of New FBI Norfolk Field Office

A dedication ceremony for the new Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Norfolk Field Office in Chesapeake, VA, was held March 27, marking the facility’s completion.  The event began with the singing of the National Anthem and the Presentation of Colors by the Chesapeake Police Department.  Dan Walsh of the Walsh Group, FBI Deputy Director Mark Giuliano, FBI Norfolk Special Agent in Charge Royce Curtin, and GSA Mid-Atlantic Regional Administrator Sara Manzano-Diaz addressed the crowd. FBI Assistant Director Pat Findley closed the ceremony with an awards presentation.

The FBI Norfolk Field Office serves as Regional Headquarters for the Tidewater, VA, area, providing support for the FBI’s critical mission.  The new 131,460 square foot facility includes a dedicated command center the FBI uses when responding to emergencies in coordination with other law enforcement agencies.
