The Northeast & Caribbean Region’s Capital Program includes major current construction projects that incorporate sustainable features. These projects will use the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Green Building Rating System. Recent projects have included several major border stations at the U.S.- Canadian border in upstate New York, the Robert H. Jackson U.S. Courthouse in Buffalo, New York, and the Ronald H. Brown United States Mission to the United Nations Building in New York City. Past projects, such as the Ted Weiss Federal Building, have also been recognized for energy efficiency and received Energy Star Certification.
Recycling and Energy Conservation Services are also provided to client agencies within the Northeast & Caribbean Region.
