For immediate release – October 1, 2018

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) today announced the appointment of Bradley Hansher as the regional administrator of GSA’s Great Lakes Region.

Hansher has been serving as senior advisor to GSA’s Region 5 acting regional administrator since May 2017. As the Great Lakes regional administrator, Hansher will oversee all of GSA’s operations in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin; including management of federal real estate and information technology. He will also be responsible for an inventory of more than 1,000 government-owned or leased buildings, and overseeing more than 600 employees.

“Brad has done an excellent job as senior advisor and he will continue to bring great value to our GSA leadership team as regional administrator for the Great Lakes Region,” said GSA Administrator Emily Murphy. “Brad’s experience in real estate and government will help GSA further pursue our mission of delivering value and savings in real estate, acquisition, technology, and mission-support services across government.”

Hansher was appointed senior advisor to GSA’s Region 5 acting regional administrator in May 2017. Prior to joining GSA, he served in management and leadership positions for several real estate and property management companies in the Chicago area.

Hansher earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin.
