Janelle Agnos, a senior building manager in GSA’s Kansas City South Field Office, will become chief of the PBS Facilities Management Division’s Occupancy Management Branch Feb. 27.

With over 15 years of service, Janelle brings unique experience supporting our customers, providing contract oversight and administering FMD programs at the field and regional levels,” said PBS Deputy Regional Commissioner David Rumsey. “She will be a great addition to the division and a continued asset to our leadership team.”

Agnos first joined GSA in 2006 as an intern, and then moved to the Kansas City South Field Office and served as a building management specialist at the former Bannister Federal Complex before being promoted to senior building manager in 2014.

What do you look forward to most about your new position?

I’m looking forward to getting to work more closely with the team and learning more about the impact of the facilities management programs on the rest of the organization and our customers. I am also really excited about being able to grow and work through new challenges.

How do you think your previous experience has prepared you for the new role?

My previous experience with administration and oversight of the programs in the field has given me a deep understanding and appreciation for the function of the OM branch. It will be awesome to see the programs from another point of view and see where I can add value for the stakeholders.

Anything else you’d like to share?

I am extremely grateful for the support of the Kansas City South team and the Service Center team in helping me get to where I am today. I am excited for the opportunity to make them proud in my new role.
