What was your career journey, to where you are now?
In Florida, I served in the U.S. Army before becoming an elementary school teacher. After moving to Missouri, I became a procurement support specialist and then a contract specialist at the United States Department of Agriculture, supporting domestic and international procurement programs through service contracting and policy support.
What other federal government or military experience have you had and for how long?
I served in the U.S. Army and worked for the federal government as a procurement support specialist and contract specialist at the United States Department of Agriculture.
What is your alma mater, degree or special training?
Elementary education with exceptional student endorsement at Florida Atlantic University.
What is your biggest professional or personal accomplishment?
I received a (quality step increase) from my supervisor at the USDA for my high-quality performance as a contract specialist.
How do you recharge your batteries outside of work?
Working out at the gym (pre-pandemic) and going on walks with family (post-pandemic).

I am married with two daughters and three dogs.

I would like to hike around the world.

Is there anything else you would like to share about yourself?
I’m motivated by growth and change. I am excited to transition to GSA, where I will be challenged to expand my knowledge and experience in contracting.
