GSA partners with San Antonio-based My Business Matches for small business event
GSA’s Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) is partnering with My Business Matches (MBM), a San Antonio-based 8(a) small business, to host its Small Business Works 2024 Training & Matchmaking Event A.C.T.S on Maximizing Small Business Opportunities on May 9. MBM is a cloud-based global business matchmaking solution that helps organizations conduct business matchmaking events. OSDBU will use MBM’s meeting software to help small businesses network during the virtual event.
The 8(a) Small Business Development Program is a nine-year program that offers training and technical assistance for businesses owned by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. This is just one of the many programs OSDBU supports to advocate for small, small-disadvantaged, veteran, service disabled veteran, Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone), and women business owners.
GSA is committed to ensuring that small businesses are well represented in the federal marketplace. Eighty percent of the GSA Schedule contractors are small businesses, and for 13 years in a row, GSA received an A or A+ on our Small Business Scorecard from the Small Business Administration.
