First Expansion Location for Federal Workforce Credentialing Opens in Texas

Collaboration Between GSA, USPS Results in First Identity Verification and Onboarding Location at Colleyville, Texas Post Office

COLLEYVILLE, Texas — The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) and United States Postal Service (USPS) opened a USAccess Credentialing Post Office Site in Colleyville, Texas (a suburb of Dallas/Fort Worth) on Nov. 15, 2022. This is the first nationwide location to open since the pilot launched in Washington, D.C.

This site aligns with the President’s Management Agenda priority to strengthen and empower the federal workforce by giving both them and federal contractors more options to enroll, receive, and update their security credentials at a designated USPS location closer to where they live.

“By making credentialing easier for federal workers, we can better ensure the continuity of services for the American people,” said Laura Stanton, Assistant Commissioner, Federal Acquisition Services, Information Technology Category. “The expansion sites are a direct example of making shared services more accessible to the federal workforce across the country and a result of the continued collaboration efforts between GSA and USPS via the USAccess Program.”

The Colleyville location is available for all USAccess customers and provides 200 credentialing appointment opportunities per month.
Additional expansion sites are targeted to open throughout the country in the near future.
