GSA announces new political appointee

WASHINGTON — The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) announced a new political appointment as Special Assistant in the Office of the Administrator.

Sam Herget will serve as a Special Assistant in the Office of the Administrator. Prior to joining GSA, he worked in a variety of operations, event planning, staffing, and building management roles. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
