The Robert N. Giaimo Federal Building, located adjacent to the Richard C. Lee Courthouse in New Haven, is a seven-story, modern-style building. The federal building was originally designed by William F. Pedersen of New Haven, Connecticut in the mid 1970s. The building was renamed after Robert Giaimo, a former Connecticut representative who served in office from 1959-1981.
