GSA to host government-to-government consultation with Tribal leaders at Reservation Economic Summit
Post filed in: Equity
We are building on our commitment to continuously seek opportunities to improve services for Tribal Nations.
On April 3, we will host a government-to-government consultation session, where Tribal leaders and business leaders in Indian country can openly share interests and concerns surrounding GSA’s overall support of Tribes. During the consultation — which will occur at the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development’s Reservation Economic Summit (RES) — we will specifically explore:
- The “Tribes and Tribal Organizations: Guide to Using GSA Solutions [PDF - 809 KB]” resource that GSA will continually evolve to meet the needs of Tribal communities. (We will ask for feedback, including answers to some key questions in our summary document [PDF - 117 KB].)
- A special initiative around Tribal Carbon Pollution-Free Electricity [PDF - 116 KB].
- A special Electric Vehicle Initiative for Tribal Nations [PDF - 183 KB].
Additional material related to the consultation includes our March 2023 letter to Tribal Nations.
To make participation as easy as possible, this no-cost consultation does not require registration for RES 2023. However, we do ask that participants register for the consultation through our website, so that we can accurately capture Tribal representatives present at the consultation.
