The Facilities and Construction Category Hallway on the Acquisition Gateway has broad-ranging content and resources applicable to the acquisition of construction related services and materials, facilities related services and materials, and the purchase or lease of facilities. Examples of these resources include expert articles about the industry, introductions to innovative contracting solutions in those areas, category governance and planning materials, and access to specific acquisition communities with deep functional knowledge and best practices.
A number of innovative contracting vehicles are available to use for many of the services and products in this Category. The Solution Finder on the Acquisition Gateway is a great option to help find these solutions. If the service or product you are looking for is not available through a currently established vehicle, be sure to view expert articles and/or visit the Community section on the Gateway to get plugged into information on best practices or additional industry information. The Document Library on the Gateway is also a great resource to see how other federal requirements are being fulfilled.
The Facilities and Construction Category is comprised of 5 major sub-categories and 24 functional groupings. Please see the chart below for the Category’s composition.
