At GSA’s Direct Client Support Division (DCSD), you’ll be part of a team driven by providing quality support and expertise to some of GSA’s most valuable clients. You’ll deliver actionable contracting execution and guidance, providing meaningful impact to our federal clients.
Our clients have included: Army Contracting Command (ACC), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS), Department of Education (DOE), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Missile Defense Agency (MDA), Special Operations Command (SOCOM) and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).
What is Direct Client Support?
Direct Client Support (DCS) offers an increased level of support for high-value, strategic clients. DCS customizes support to enhance client operations by embedding GSA acquisition personnel at client locations to assist with the execution of GSA solutions. GSA employees are strategically placed, with the right skill-set, ensuring a successful partnership.
Potential DCS staff responsibilities include contracting functions and acquisition life-cycle operations, including:
- Acquisition planning and strategy development
- Procurement and business analyst functions
- Conducting policy reviews
- Researching acquisition issues and providing solution recommendations
- Providing tailored and specialized training
- Assisting clients with streamlining the acquisition process
