Order of Succession - Office of Human Resources Management (OHRM)

Purpose

This Order establishes the order of succession of officials to serve as Acting Chief Human Capital Officer, during any period in which the Chief Human Capital Officer (CHCO) becomes incapacitated, resigns, or is otherwise unable to perform the functions and duties of the position. 

Designations

 In order to ensure the presence, at all times, of an official with appropriate authority during the absence of the CHCO, the following officials, in the line of succession shown, are designated to serve as the acting CHCO. This will also apply to the order of succession for devolution.

  1. Director, Human Resources Services/Deputy CHCO
  2. Deputy Director, Human Resources Services
  3. Director,  Human Capital Planning, Policy and Training Division
  4. Director, Staffing Center
  5. Director, Workforce Relations Center
  6. Director, Benefits and Retirement Center

Exercise of Authority

An official serving as Acting Chief Human Capital Officer shall, in that capacity, exercise all authority and perform all functions and duties of the CHCO position, in addition to performing their regularly assigned duties.
