GSA ORDER
SUBJECT: Designation of the U.S. General Services Administration Designated Official for the GSA Headquarters Facility
- Purpose. As defined in 41 C.F.R. § 102-71.20, the Designated Official “is the highest ranking official of the primary occupant agency of a Federal facility, or, alternatively, a designee selected by mutual agreement of occupant agency officials.” This order provides for the naming of an alternative U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) official to serve as the Designated Official for GSA’s Headquarters facility located at 1800 F Street, N.W., in Washington, DC.
- Designation. Effective immediately, the Associate Administrator, Office of Mission Assurance (OMA), is hereby selected to serve as the Designated Official for GSA’s Headquarters facility. The Designated Official is responsible for developing and implementing the Occupant Emergency Program for GSA’s Headquarters facility in accordance with 41 C.F.R. §§ 102.74.230 - 102.74.260 of the Federal Management Regulation.
- Implementing Actions. OMA and the Office of Human Resources Management, in conjunction with other appropriate agency officials, are directed to take all necessary actions to implement this order.
