The Federal Acquisition Service 360 Development Program, also known as FAS 360, is our entry-level program for attracting top talent for the organization. FAS 360 consists of two tracks: FAS 360 Cohort and FAS 360 Interns.
FAS 360 Cohort
Our FAS 360 Cohort program is a 22-month rotational development program for entry-level employees.
You can enter the FAS 360 Cohort program through
- Conversion from the FAS 360 Interns program
- Recruitment through the Pathways program
You will rotate through various offices within FAS and receive technical and professional development training, mentoring, and networking opportunities to prepare them for the role of a Data Analyst (series 343), Project Manager (series 1101), or Contract Specialist (series 1102). At the end of the program, you are placed an office across the organization to start your permanent assignments.
Quick facts

- Recruiting up to 15 participants across FAS to be combined with our converting intern class

FAS 360 Interns
Our FAS 360 Interns program is for college students who have completed their junior year and are entering their senior year of undergraduate studies with a graduation date by the end of the upcoming spring semester. The program exposes students to real-world work experience within FAS, providing professional and technical training and development opportunities.
Internships begin the summer after students complete their junior year. Interns are assigned to one office and do not rotate in the program. Given good performance, you can extend your summer internship into a part-time role during the fall and spring semesters. After graduating, interns who complete the program can be extended an opportunity to transition into the FAS 360 Cohort.
