Built in 1964, the 10-story John Weld Peck Federal Building is constructed of limestone and glass and located in the heart of downtown Cincinnati. The building is named for the Honorable John Weld Peck, a former federal judge who served terms with the U.S. District and Appeals courts and the Ohio Supreme Court.
Property Managers: David Zeeb, Jena Richter
Public Hours: 7:30 a.m.– 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (except federal holidays)

The Peck Federal Building received $43 million for modernization and exterior improvements, including minor curtain wall repairs and installation of new windows, roof, upgraded fire alarm system, extended sprinkler system, ceilings, and high-efficiency lighting for selected floors utilizing daylight harvesting practices. During the next 10 years, GSA will invest in improvements to the lobby, security, restrooms, fire and life safety systems, roof, and renovation of approximately 220,000-square-feet of space to house six agencies currently in leased space.
The building has indoor parking spaces but only for tenant agencies. Visitors can use one of several surface parking lots or garages nearby. Public transportation is easily accessible on Main Street near the building’s primary entrance via Metro (Ohio) or TANK (Kentucky).
The Internal Revenue Service is the main tenant, but the building also houses offices for the Corps of Engineers, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Alcohol and Tobacco Tax Trade Bureau, National Labor Relations Board, and Department of Homeland Security’s Citizenship and Immigration Services.
