Movers And Shakers: Office of Natural Resources Revenue Relocates

The Office of Natural Resources Revenue (ONRR) is excited to announce that the first phase of their Building 85 renovation project officially began the week of March 29th!  Employees began a smooth and successful transition into Building 41 and 53 swing spaces due to the collaborative efforts of ONRR’s Administrative Resource Management and Information Management Center offices, in addition to the many dedicated move coordinators assigned to each office, and GSA moving coordination staff.  Throughout the first phase of this renovation, ONRR will occupy space in five buildings on the Denver Federal Center including Buildings 41, 53, 67, 85, and 85A.

As part of the renovation process, ONRR created a memory wall for employees to share their fondest Building 85 memories, some having been in the building for over 25 years!  Portions of the “Goodbye Building 85” wall were extracted in order to frame them for future use in their newly renovated building.

To help employees learn their new surroundings, ONRR employed a Scavenger Hunt team- building activity, which focused on the many treasures hidden in plain sight within the two swing space buildings.  Do you know what treasures they found?  Places like the Denver Federal
Center Museum and Bicentennial Park, important meeting rooms, eateries, and even spaces to rejuvenate the mind.

As new faces begin to fill the hallways of Buildings 41 and 53, take a note from the “30 Tips of Dignity and Respect” and “smile,” “say hello,” or “be a relationship builder,” because you never know what great opportunities are just around the corner.
