The courthouse is home to the U.S. District, Bankruptcy and Magistrate courts and also provides office space for court-related agencies, including the U.S. Attorneys, Marshals, Probation and Public Defender.
Project Update
A project in February 2010 replaced the building’s:
- Air-cooled chiller with a water-cooled model.
- Building automation system with a new energy management system.
- Drywall skylight-shading feature with a fabric canopy.
- Old light fixtures with newer, more efficient models.
The project also installed:
- New variable-frequency drives for water distribution and air-handling units.
- New sensor controls for rain irrigation and occupancy lighting.
