We lease space including offices, laboratories, warehouses, clinics, and border stations for most federal agencies in cities, suburbs, and rural areas throughout the United States and its territories. Follow these steps to find and compete for lease contract opportunities.
Visit SAM.gov to find lease contract opportunities
To begin your search, choose “Contract Opportunities” from the “Select Domain” menu on the System for Award Management homepage. Then, type a city or keyword in the search box. Next, click the magnifying glass button.
You can further refine the search results using the filters on the left. The NAICS filter, which is under the section titled “Product or Service Information,” is especially helpful. Use NAICS code 531120 for lessors of nonresidential buildings.
Once you’ve completed your search, you’ll notice that each advertisement contains detailed instructions on how to properly express interest and how to offer space. Keep in mind, SAM displays contract opportunities from all federal agencies.
You can also use the interactive Lease Contract Opportunities Map to search for lease contract opportunities by location.
You must have an active registration, in accordance with RLP requirements, in SAM prior to any lease award. Begin the registration process as soon as possible. The SAM registration service is free of charge.
