Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM Bank)
Founded in 1934, the mission of the Export-Import Bank is to encourage the private sector to create and maintain U.S. jobs by financing exports of the Nation’s goods and services. The EXIM Bank strives to accomplish their mission through the offering of a variety of loan, guarantee, and insurance programs to support transactions that would not be awarded to U.S. companies without the Bank’s assistance.
EXIM Bank’s mission is to help American exporters meet government- supported financing competition from other countries, so that U.S. exports can compete for overseas business on the basis of price, performance, and service—in doing so help create and sustain U.S. jobs. In addition, the Bank also fills gaps in the availability of commercial financing for creditworthy export transactions.
Under the authority of the Export- Import Act of 1945, the EXIM Bank operates as an independent agency of the U.S. Government.

Founded in 1930, the mission of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is to fulfill President Abraham Lincoln’s promise “to care for him who shall have borne the battle, and for his widow, and his orphan” by serving and honoring the men and women who are America’s veterans. The VA focuses on administering benefit programs for these veterans, their families and their survivors which include: pension, education, disability, compensation, home loans, life insurance, vocational rehabilitation, survivor support, medical care and burial benefits.
