GSA Updates Timeline on Availability of the Environmental Impact Statement
BOSTON – The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) has updated the timeline for the availability of the Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (FSEIS) as it relates to the new U.S. Land Port of Entry in Madawaska, Maine.
The project consists of the construction and management of a Land Port of Entry.
During the Public Hearing held in December 2018, GSA, the U.S. Department of Transportation - Federal Highway Administration, and MaineDOT provided an initial timeline for the availability of the FSEIS / Programmatic Section 4(f) Evaluation.
The new estimated availability of the FSEIS for the Land Port of Entry project is scheduled for the August/September 2019 timeframe.
GSA’s anticipates the Record of Decision for this project will be issued during the fall of 2019.
