What is eRETA?
The external RWA Entry and Tracking Application (eRETA) is the customer portal for Reimbursable Work Authorization (RWA) information. An RWA is an Interagency Agreement between your agency and GSA that authorizes GSA to provide services that will then be reimbursed by your agency.
Who can use eRETA?
If you are a federal agency customer, you are required to send all RWA and RWA Work Request information to GSA via eRETA. You can then use eRETA to get real-time access to RWA project and financial information.
If you are non-federal customer, and you work with state or local government or private entities, visit the Reimbursable Services Program overview page for more information.
How do I sign in?
To avoid sign in issues, only use https://extportal.pbs.gsa.gov as your browser’s eRETA bookmark. Bookmarking any other link may result in difficulties accessing the PBS external Portal where eRETA is located.
How do I maintain access?
To maintain access to eRETA, you must recertify your account annually by responding to the re-certification email you receive from (include email address). If your account has been disabled, you will need to reapply for access.
What can I do with eRETA?
When you request an account you can choose either a data-entry or read-only role.
If you have a data-entry role, eRETA allows you to:
- Electronically submit new work requests
- Enter your information directly into the system
- Make edits and create amendments to your RWA request
- Upload documentation to maintain an “RWA File”
- Search and download RWA information
A read-only role allows you to search, view, and download information, but not to add information to the system. If you need to upgrade your access from a read-only role to a data-entry role, email us at eRETA@gsa.gov with the request and cc your supervisor.
