Today we are focused on designing digital experiences for government that reduce burdens and meet people where they are. As we move forward from our initial efforts, our teams are focused on scaling thoughtfully and delivering trusted, modern government experiences for all.
Our goal — as Technology Transformation Services, or TTS — is to help agencies meet the needs of the public in seamless, secure, and equitable ways, combining best practices from both the tech and government worlds. In this way, we can strike the balance between legacy systems that still work and upgrading to modern systems for a more seamless user experience.
Throughout the pandemic, we faced increasing challenges as members of the public and as public servants. This uncertain time highlighted a major need to support government’s shift to digital-first experiences, connect communities to critical support, and provide immediate relief to those most affected by the crisis. We learned together how to work in more hybrid environments, how to realign our time and efforts to make the most impact, and how to reach people in the ways they expect and use every day.
Since the president signed the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, TTS has leveraged American Rescue Plan, or ARP, funds to expand the public’s access to benefits and cross-agency services, deploying technical experts across agencies as needed for digital capacity and literacy.
ARP investments have supported key TTS projects, including the rapid adoption of cloud technology, cross-collaboration with technical experts, intensified user testing and analysis, as well as collaborating across agencies to build toward the future. As a result, TTS enabled federal, state, local, and tribal agencies to simplify processes, enhance security, and prioritize efforts based on public needs.
TTS’ commitment to design and deliver a digital government with and for the public remains unwavering. Thanks to the support of Congress, GSA, and the Biden-Harris Administration, we are here to help with highly skilled talent, useful products, and platforms that put people first.
